Nicole: a 7-year-old child on her way to recovery

Nicole, 7 years old, weighed 28 pounds when she was admitted for nutritional rehab last week. A team of volunteer nurses met Nicole and her family in the mountains days before Christmas. Her smile says it all ... 😊

Thank you for sharing your year-end gifts to help children like Nicole!

Little William arrived

Today we welcomed William, a tiny boy 13 moths of age weighing 5.5 Kg (12 lb. ).  Accompanied by his grandmother, William -- suffering from third degree malnutrition -- was brought to our campus by the county health authorities. His health is fragile, however we are confident that with the tender loving care, medications and with God's blessing, William is on a solid path to recovering his health. We look forward to seeing his first smile!

Sandra and Elsa, both one year old, were admitted to our Nutritional Rehabilitation Program. The little girls, who are cousins, were brought in by their mothers. They are recovering well and have a good prognosis. Please keep them in your prayers. We appreciate your support so that little girls and boys like them can have the smiles returned to their faces through adequate and nourishing food, accompanied by tender loving care.
