How You Can Help

Because the scope of PAHS project in Honduras is very wide there is a way for almost anyone to be involved if they wish to. There are four basic ways in which you can be involved:

Prayers:

Prayer has been a central part of PAHS ability to accomplish its mission. The work that is done requires skills, resources and insights that we believe can only be found through prayer. We request that you keep our children in your prayers, as well as the staff members who nurture them and the organization that provides the framework for their growth and development.

Time:

The wide range of activities that takes place on a typical day of operations provides a broad base for those interested in giving their time to work on our campus in Peña Blanca.

Finances:

Finances are essential to operate this broad scope of work. Food, school supplies, farm supplies, maintenance and construction supplies must all be purchased. Gasoline must be bought to fuel the vehicles that transport supplies from the city up the mountain to our campus. Employees must be paid for their role in delivery of services so that they to can place food on their own tables. The electric company also demands payment for its services which allows food to be kept from spoiling, clothes and bedding to be washed efficiently for good hygiene and light during the darker hours to be able to care for children, work in the offices and do homework in the Homes.

Donations:

The needs for supplies are many. This affords an opportunity for you to help by donating needed supplies. You may give your support by donating items that our children will need such as : * School supplies for primary, secondary, university * Medical supplies for our Health Clinic and Nutrition Hospital. * Tools to be used by our technical school students in woodworking, sewing, auto mechanic and wood carving.
